About Us

Our Story

The founder of Cafe Pastel, Mrs. Duygu Dalkilic Celebioglu is a Food Engineer. She was graduated from the Department of Food Engineering at Akdeniz University and Corvinus University of Budapest. Her food engineering education has provided multidisciplinary, involving basic sciences i.e. food safety, chemistry, physics, microbiology, biology, nutrition, quality assurance, hygiene as well as design and engineering. In addition, she has specialized on quality management systems, in particular quality audits and quality consulting. She is also certified lead auditor on Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8 by BRC. She has always been interested in the bakery. Her most-known hobby is a perfect baking pastry products such as french macarons, cookies, cakes, breads and desserts. She had the pastry training in Paris. Mrs. Dalkilic Celebioglu has entrepreneurial spirit. For that reason, she established her own bakery business in UK in 2019.

Duygu is a Food Engineer.  Also, she is a Chef of Macaron. Her most-known hobby is a perfect baking pastry products such as french macarons, cookies, cakes, breads and desserts. She has taken a macaron course in Paris.
